Resend Problem Fixed in Building and Technology Work Order Systems
Last fall Susan Rosenquist from Poplar Bluff schools in MO alerted us to a Java error on some of our pages. When you would assign work orders, for instance, the system would pop-up a message stating that you needed to refresh the page by clicking resend (depending on which browser you were using, the message would change). We looked into this and couldn't duplicate the behavior for some reason. Susan was patient and updated her browser and java but it didn't help. Last week, Denise Ash from Bowling Green schools in MO emailed us about the same problem and mentioned that it only happened when she got behind in assigning work orders. We started looking into the problem and again and found it only happened when you had more than one page of work orders going (I still don't know why that didn't happen on my machine when I tested it in the fall). We found the errant code and fixed the problem this morning. The technology and building work order systems should all refresh the main page now on every change without asking for a repost. If you find you are having a repost problem in any of our other systems, please contact us. Likewise, please email me if you find this behavior still occurs in your technology or building work order systems. Thank you all for your business!
