Efficiency Report Updates
Today, we updated the efficiency reports of the Technology and Building Maintenance systems. Rather than one report, there are now three separate efficiency reports available. Report one shows efficiency stats, but does not list individual work orders. Report 2 is the efficiency report you are accustomed to; it shows stats and the individual work order details. Report 3 was suggested to us by Dick Lavoie who uses our software at the Muscogee County School District in Columbus, GA. This report shows the individual stats for each job type in the system, allowing you to view the efficiency of various departments within your organization.
Also, there were a few small bugs in the original report that we repaired, including formatting and time zone issues. We hope all of these changes help you and your organizations manage your work orders and departments!

Add Labor Item Updates
In the Technology and Building Work Order Systems, you can now type None (or NONE,none,etc.) in the hours fields to enter work order items that took no time to complete. For instance, technicians may want to change the status to Parts On Order without changing the work order's total labor costs. They can now do this by using the None feature. The screens still will not allow 0.00 or 0 as an hours entry. This stops accidental zero hour entries caused by skipping around to various fields on the screen. Thanks to Ron Spicer and the technology staff at Affton Public Schools in St. Louis for suggesting this update!
